FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Milia is caused when the naturally produced protein, keratin, becomes trapped in the skin’s surface layers, forming a tiny cyst. It is commonly formed at the base of a hair follicle or sweat gland
It is a simple, highly effective process during which an electric current and a slender needle is used to cauterise the Milia. There is nothing more than slight discomfort during this process. The treated area may also appear redder than usual. All of this is normal and will go away within a day or two.
A single treatment is normally enough to remove an individual Milia.
